VINCENT: The man he 'killed' and a love rival of a sort, Vincent comes from a time shortly after the incident in which he was shot and experimented on for getting in the way of Hojo's work. Hojo himself is from considerably later, and is well aware of the results of his experiment on Vincent. Vincent, however, has not yet experienced their full effect, and is seeking answers from him. Recently, when Vincent was nearly killed by Sephiroth and left to bleed to death at the fountain, Hojo found out his location and went to get him before anyone else could. With no current ability to extend the experiment, but a desire to preserve what little material remains from his work in Gaia (to what end, he hasn't made clear), he stopped the bleeding, patched him up and let AVALANCHE and the Turks know of his location. At this time, he also took Vincent's main gun from him.
SEPHIROTH: His biological son, also complete with Lucrecia's genes and Jenova's cells, he is the most deadly force on Gaia, matched in strength only by Cloud Strife. Has expressed a desire to kill Hojo, but more recently has been trying to find information about his other mother, to which Vincent has referred.
RENO: Hojo's second ally. Reno struck a deal with him, offering him protection and thus ensuring the cooperation of the Turks with him in exchange for information. He has shown himself to be quite trusting, as he knows that Hojo is in no position to abuse it.
✘NUADORIA
SASUKE: Hojo's first ally, another that offered protection for information. Hojo keeps him for his more general purpose value.
SEIMEI: A fellow creeper. 8)
NATIVE1: A native with which Hojo has made contact, who gave him information about the world. His name is unknown, but Hojo has given him the assignation NATIVE1 in his report on the incident.
